Wigs for Beginners: How to put on a Wig

Putting on a wig for the first time can feel a bit tricky, but with a few simple steps, you'll be a pro in no time. Whether you're new to wigs or just need a refresher, this guide will walk you through the process of securing a wig comfortably and confidently. From prepping your natural hair to adjusting the fit, we'll help you achieve a natural, seamless look so you can step out with style and ease every day.


Prep your hair by wrapping and pinning it or putting on a wig cap. 

Comb and brush the top and part area of your wig to remove the zigzag part or box set.

Place the front of the wig at your hairline and hold down while you pull and secure the nape. Adjust the straps at the neckline if needed.

Use the ear tabs to shift and adjust the placement of the wig, the hairline should be slightly behind your own.
