Alessandra | Synthetic Lace Front Wig (Mono Top)

The cut is shaggy with lots of layers. I trimmed the bangs a bit shorter to hide the hairline better. The hairline isn’t bad because of lace but the color isn’t broken up at all and it looks to dark all the way across your forehead . I have never had this issue. My 2 go to colors are 12FS8 and 12FS12. This wig is a 12FS12. I wish it had the lighter money pieces in the front. Also just to note the ends on this piece are also darker. It doesn’t part real good. The top is dense so you cant see a scalp . Makes this wig not as realistic. I’m going to pass on purchasing another Alessandra.

I’ve been wearing Alessandra in shaded peach for many years and have loved her as my go to wig. Beautiful color, lots of body, gorgeous layers.Unfortunately, last year the one I ordered had much less body and curl. It laid flat and limp on my head. The layers blended together and didn’t show well at all. I returned it thinking it was a fluke. However, I just ordered another one and the problem persists. I’m guessing that either the manufacturer or the production has changed, but in any case, beware— it bears little resemblance to the photographs and video posted on the website. For reference I’ve attached three photos; the first one is the wig I just returned. The second one is the one I ordered last year. The third one I ordered in 2023 in a different color.

This one gives me the same feeling as Rachel lite but without the curls. After ordering it in the same shade as my Rachel (shaded praline), I found that the straight style really brought out the warm yellows more and I wasn't a fan in this style. On the screen, I was worried fawn would be too dark but I found it lighter than the photo online. Love the fawn and the brown at the top is almost identical to my bio hair. This one is a bit shiny so I am hoping that will fade. I'll just tell people I went a little overboard with the shine spray ;). The first photo is the Shaded Praline. The second is Fawn in bathroom lighting and the third is Fawn in the more natural light of my entryway.

Let me say that I do love the color 12SF8 and the fibers of this wig and she is quite beautiful. I always wanted to order Alessandra, however I was hesitant due to the price point (thank goodness for payment plans today) So finally I got this beauty, and for me it’s been a challenge to keep the fibers away from my face and parting her. I rather part on the side, and for this one I have settled for an almost middle part. Maybe I’ve gotten used to newer wigs that are almost ready out of the box to wear, not sure. I am not giving up, and I am not saying don’t get her, however be aware that she needs a little work, and patience.

This wig is lovely . It didn’t work with a wig grip as you could see the grip underneath the lace, a lace parted wig grip could work so I’m going to buy one and try it . The hair isn’t very dense in the front parted middle so a slight side part looks better , you just have to mess with the front a little and the part to make it look natural . I used a little bit of ebin wig glue spray on my fingers to glue down the lace to my head it dried almost instantly . I also put some Bobby pins to secure it . It is shiny so dry shampoo sprayed all over helped some but not much. Hoping over time it’s less shiny , but it’s a beautiful piece !
