Washing

  • Add 1 tablespoon of shampoo to cold water. Soak for 5 minutes
  • Rinse thoroughly (incomplete rinsing dulls the fiber)
  • Gently blot with a towel. Do not squeeze, twist, brush or comb while wet
  • Hang to air dry or place on a folding wig stand (avoid drying on a Styrofoam head)

Styling

  • Avoid using heat styling tools like a blow dryer, curling iron and flat iron.
  • To smooth or re-curl, use a round metal brush and the HUW Hair Steamer.
  • For excess shine, use dry shampoo to dull

    Great...right out of the box!

    I absolutely love this wig. It's not too bulky and is just spiky enough to give me some height. We will be traveling soon, and I know that I will appreciate the open weave cap and shorter length in the summer heat...and I can be confident that my "hair" always looks polished for travel photos!

    Was this really this wig? First, it’s in a Hair You Wear Box and it looks nothing like the one I own. This is the second time I’ve had something like this happen where the wig is too big & not even close in look. Disappointed.

    I have worn Power for the past 20 years. The last few I have ordered have disappointed me. They are not cut at all like the first ones. The hair sticks out and won’t lay down….in the back. I am thinking that after ordering for many years and spending over $5,000, I may have to look for something else.
