What You Should Know to Determine Your Correct Wig Size

Head Circumference • Body Frame Type • Natural Hair Type

Measure around your head, as shown in the photo. Drape the cloth tape around the back of the head and touch the base of your skull at a point where the wig will end. Position end of tape at mid-point of your front hairline, place tape measure as shown, just above ears. This measurement is your head 'circumference'.
Petite Body Frame and a full head of hair with moderate length, you are probably 'Petite' or 'Petite/Average'. Go up in size for thick or shoulder length hair and down in size for sparse, thin or no hair.

  All TWC full-cap wig products have   multiple adjustment features to expand or   contract the fit for maximum comfort.
Medium Body Frame and a full head of hair with moderate length, you are probably 'Average'. Go up in size for thick or shoulder length hair and down in size for sparse, thin or no hair.
Larger Body Frame. So long as your circumference exceeds 22½", and you have a full head of hair with moderate length, you are probably 'Large' or 'Average/Large'.
Using the information above, you are now ready to select your wig size. Compare your circumference measurement to the chart below. Consider your body frame type and volume of natural hair to ensure accuracy in size selection.

The velcro or soft buckle sizing tabs inside all TWC wig caps allow a 1" larger or smaller
adjustment of the circumference.

NOTE: TWC offers a few select styles in 'half sizes':

  • Mini-petite: circumference and depth are approximately ¼" to ½" smaller than petite.
  • Petite/Average: circumference and depth are approximately ¼" to ½" larger than petite.
  • Average/Large: circumference and depth are approximately ½" larger than average.

Be certain that the styles you like come in the size you selected.
